# Investboard > Investboard is a second brain for AI-assisted investing: portfolio analysis, an investor-owned mandate and durable decision context. External MCP retrieves permitted policy, checks and records after authorization. Its three portfolio tools read imported holdings and values, fund exposures and historical analytics with portfolio:read, Premium and enabled portfolio sharing. Its toolset and consent differ from the built-in AI. investing.md is a portable policy snapshot, not a live connection or a complete journal export. Investors retain control of their decisions. Investboard does not execute trades. German tax tools state their jurisdiction and assumptions.
