# Investment policy worksheet for investing.md 0.4

This is an incomplete worksheet, not a valid exported investing.md policy or investment advice. Replace every bracketed instruction with your own decision. Do not copy the synthetic example's allocations. No securities, holdings, credentials or account numbers are needed.

When producing a policy file, use the specification's front matter: schema, schema_version, standard, composed_at, mode and instrument_neutral. Record an actual ISO composition date; never imply that the snapshot updates itself.

## Purpose

- Primary objective: [Your objective]
- Investment horizon: [Your horizon]
- Scope and withdrawal needs: [What this policy covers]

## Philosophy

[Your chosen approach and why it fits your objective]

## Risk

[Your risk needs, capacity and tolerance; any conflicts you have considered]

## Allocation bands

| Asset class | Minimum | Target | Maximum |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Your asset class] | [Your floor] | [Your target] | [Your ceiling] |

[Use asset classes, not specific securities. Check that your targets total 100%.]

## Review rules

[Your review cadence, drift limits, concentration caps and rebalancing approach]

## Cooling-off

[Your chosen mode and duration; what an override requires]

## Agent protocol

[When an assistant should consult the policy, state missing information and retrieve current records. A file grants no access, executes no orders and cannot ensure model compliance.]

## Enforcement split

### Enforced

[Only controls your actual tooling enforces]

### Documented only

[Your recorded commitments that tooling does not enforce]

## Before sharing

Check the filled policy against the current specification: https://investboard.com/standards/investing-md. Record its version and date, remove private details you do not need to share, and replace it after policy changes. Personal exports in Investboard are generated from your own saved mandate.
